Cushion draw and ejector table
Cushion draw is used in deep draw presses. It allows the technology of deep draw metal forming.
Cushion draw is installed in the table of the press. It is designed to retain the lower part of deep drawing tool with specific force needed for production technology of specific part. Cushion draw is also used for plunging retraction of ejector pins.
Drives of cushion draw can be mechanical or hydraulic. Mechanically driven cushion draw is used for higher production efficiency and is less flexible for adjustments. Hydraulic cushion draw is highly adjustable, but less productive.
Cushion draw is controlled trough main control unit; its use is synchronized with the press.
