Double action press
The base of double action press, is external and internal slide. They are driven by the same or two different types of drive.
According to the technical characteristics and bolster plate dimensions, double action presses are ideally suited for body shell production in the automotive industry. The external slide is installed on four press units, while the number of press units (2 or 4) of the internal slide depends on the product and the dies to be installed.
The more compact multi-column housing of the »DA« type press enables the precise operation of the double action press.
With longer but less frequent slide strokes/min, specific double action press can produce strokes with nominal force value ranging from 5000 – 12000 kN on the external slide, or from 3000 – 8000 kN on the internal slide.
The working surface of the bolster plates that can range from
1830 × 1220 to 2500 × 3660 mm.
